QualityFirst Imaging, Inc. (QFI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of United Strategies Inc. (USI). USI is a document imaging and storage company focusing on products and services in those respective areas. USI has direct relationships with imaging manufacturers such as Kodak, Rimage, Captiva Software, and Overland Storage.
QFI, as a part of the USI team, has access to resources for providing record facility management services (MSTC, Inc.), and the latest imaging hardware and software (Promark Technology). Promark Technology is a major distributor of hardware and software for image conversion and mass data storage.
QFI was founded in March 2001, as QualityFirst Imaging, LLC. United Strategies, Inc., acquired QFI as a wholly owned subsidiary, on May 1, 2003, and incorporated under the name QualityFirst Imaging, Inc. It was acquired to be the document conversion arm of USI.
Management Team
Sidney Owsowitz - Operations Manager of QFI and General Manager of MSTC
Mr. Owsowitz joined MSTC, Inc. in 1992. In 2003, Mr. Owsowitz took on added responsibilities as Operations Manager for QualityFirst Imaging. Both MSTC and QFI are USI companies. He has overall operational and profit management responsibilities for both companies. He is responsible for proposal development, project implementations and operations for facility management and large document conversion projects. These projects have been in support of NIH, BATF, SSA, US Army, and several banks and insurance companies. Mr. Owsowitz has over 25 years of management experience. Prior to joining MSTC, he developed and managed projects for support of GSA, USAF, and VA. He began his career performing human engineering, analysis, systems development, and programming for the System Development Corporation, the RAND Corporation, and Planning Research Corporation. Mr. Owsowitz holds BA and MA degrees in Psychology from the University of Southern California.
Clifford H. Drye – Information Technology Manager
Mr. Drye holds a Bachelors Degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. With over twenty-five years of professional IT and management experience working with Government and commercial clients, such as DOD, NIH, EPA, DOT, DOJ, the State of Maryland, EDS, and Booz-Allan-Hamilton. He is well versed at supporting the needs of our client organizations. His areas of expertise and training include hardware/ software support; business development; project management; product management; production management; customer support; program design and development; network administration, user training; technical support; technical presentations; and systems analysis, design, development, configuration and integration. He has extensive experience in the integration and support of imaging, document management, office automation, and mass storage systems on a variety of LAN/WAN base platforms.
