QFI provides a wide range of high quality document image conversion services at its Gaithersburg, Maryland, facility.  Our well-trained staff utilizes the latest scanning equipment and software to meet specific customer requirements.  We have the resources necessary to convert paper documents, up to E size (48 x 36 inches), to electronic images.  We also have the resources for converting microfiche to electronic images.

QFI is a full service imaging company, specializing in the conversion of paper-based information to digital media, including CD-ROM, DVD, and direct file transfer (FTP or VPN).  QFI provides document scanning, indexing, coding, OCR text extraction, and format-to-format conversion. 

QFI can provide the scanned images and import/export control files for virtually any document imaging system.  We can create images to meet any industry standard image format.

QFI performs document conversion in a controlled access work area, and for some customers, internally locked document storage facilities are utilized.  The building in which we store work has controlled access outside of normal work hours.  

QFI works with its customer’s staff to assure that the product it produces will support their needs; whether that entails following their detailed specifications, or helping with the development of those specifications.
